A Halstead 60,000 but Gas Boiler supplies hot water to a Heat Store cylinder. This cylinder has a heat exchange coil in the top through which passes cold mains water ad this, in turn, is heated and passed through a mixer valve to deliver hot water to the hand basins at a fixed temperature. There is a programmer provided on the control centre to time the periods of hot water demand and make it possible to run 'Hot Water Only' if required.
The central heating is drawn from the heat store and divided into four areas:
- Under floor heating to the offices and boardroom.
- A radiator circuit for the reception and showroom.
- A radiator circuit for the staff room and toilet block.
- Provision for a future office expansion.
There are two, twin channel timers for the above areas and room thermostats for local temperature control. Individual areas may be isolated or timed separately as required. |
